Blackfeet Housing Authority General Application
RENTAL ADMISSIONS AND OCCUPANCY POLICIES
In an effort to provide decent, safe and sanitary housing, the Blackfeet Housing Occupancy Staff strives to build trust, respect and communication between Blackfeet Housing staff our Rental Tenants and Mutual Help Home buyers. Blackfeet Housings programs are for individuals and families who can't afford or don't qualify for traditional home financing.
By filling out the attached application we will work to direct you to complete the application process and then selecting the right program. Our goal is to assist you every step of the way.
Step 1. Click this link to download the general application. Look it over and see what information you will need to collect to complete the application. Call us if you have any questions at (406) 338-5031.
Step 2. Call (406)338-5031 and set up an appointment for an interview and assistance to complete any sections of the application you are having difficulty with. When the application is complete you will be put on the waiting list. The waiting list can be viewed by clicking this link (or the one on the “home” page of this site) at any time.
Step 3. Expect a wait of about 30 days for the application process to be completed. Unfortunately we have more people needing housing than we have available supply. Currently the wait for a home is roughly two years. We will contact you when your home is ready!
Occupancy Technicians are in charged with the primary responsibility of the hands on business between Blackfeet Housing and the home buyer and rental tenant. They must maintain a good working relationship between themselves and the home buyer and rental tenant to whom they are assigned to work with.
Our technicians are advocates who are assigned to work with the home buyer or rental tenant when they are selected for move-in until the home buyer or rental tenant either owns the home or moves out.
