Blackfeet Housing maintenance is responsible for everything that is related to safe
and sanitary housing. Maintenance takes care of most all repairs that need to be done to
the house. The tenants are asked to keep the inside and outside of the house clean.

Maintenance will maintain the lawn care of any elderly, or handicapped person
that requests it. However, maintenance asks that any able-bodied tenant take
responsibility for the care taking of their lawn; if they do not have the proper equipment,
there are lawn mowers, weed eaters, rakes, and shovels available to check out at the
maintenance building.

Year-round the people from maintenance will take part in cleaning furnaces,
while in the fall months they will begin to prepare the homes for cold weather conditions.
So throughout the year maintenance will do everything they can to keep the homes safe
and sanitary for the tenants.
