The purpose of the Blackfeet Housing’s Down Payment Assistance program is to provide the members of the Blackfeet Tribe with affordable home ownership financing opportunities to help improve the quality of life in tribal communities. Blackfeet Housing’s Down Payment Assistance Program shall comply with all applicable regulations of the Native American Housing Assistance and Self-Determination Act of 1996 (NAHASDA) along with other applicable rules and regulations. Blackfeet Housing’s Executive Director with the approval of the Board shall be responsible for periodically amending this policy to comply with any applicable laws or regulations
